, an Indian pharmaceutical firm has been selling drugs for “vitalizing” the treatment for men suffering from erectile dysfunction.
“Erectile dysfunction is a medical condition that can cause great harm to a man’s health,” said a pharmacist in Pattaya.
“There are many people who are affected by erectile dysfunction, but the majority of the cases are men who are taking medicines for it,” she added.
The pharmaceutical company is selling two popular erectile dysfunction medicines, Viagra and Cialis, as well as the treatment for pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Both drugs are approved for use in men. They are effective for up to 36 hours and have a half-life of about 2.5 hours, compared to about 5 hours for Viagra.
The two drugs can interact with each other, so they cannot be used together.
Viagra and Cialis are two of the most popular ED treatments, with sales of $5.5 billion in the US in 2015.
They were also the most popular treatments for high blood pressure and heart failure.
While Viagra and Cialis are effective for up to 36 hours, Viagra is available for only about one hour.
